Folsom Protestant Ministry transforms incarcerated men at Folsom State Prison — so they can follow Christ on the inside and serve Him on the outside.
“I was naked and you clothed me… I was in prison and you came to me.” — Matthew 25:36
Folsom Protestant Ministry supports Greystone Christian Community Church inside Folsom Prison. Together we offer:
Our goal is to use a network of Bible-based individuals, churches, and organizations to keep our members connected with a church family on the outside and to help them become productive Christian members of society.
Every gift, prayer, and hour of service helps transform lives behind the walls of Folsom State Prison.
We are a faith-based Christian organization committed to helping inmates within the walls of Folsom State Prison. Our supreme purpose is to glorify God by obeying His command to make disciples—starting behind prison walls.
When men are released, we connect them with outside churches and organizations providing food, clothing, transportation, housing, employment opportunities, and community.
“Their mentorship, self-help programs, and charitable support gave me hope.”
“My name is Yki Valery and I served 21 years in prison. During my time at Folsom State Prison, I was impacted by the love and support that Folsom Protestant Ministry provided during the most trying time of my life. Today I’m an advocate for judicial reform, a life coach, a registered voter, and active in my church community. Thank you Folsom Protestant Ministry for coming alongside me.”
— Yki, former inmate
“They helped me reconnect with my family and a local church.”
A Folsom participant shared, “Because of the classes and mentoring I received, I left prison with a plan, a support network, and people who believed God had a future for me.”
“Our church partners with FPM because we see real fruit.”
